Events to Support the Middlewich World War II Weekend
The Library is holding events in the run up to the Middlewich World War II Weekend, 18th-19th September 2010:
On Monday 13th September at 6.00-7.00pm local author, Allan Earl, will be signing copies of his latest publication, 'Middlewich at War'. The publication costs £3.00 and a donation from sales will be made to the charity Help for Heroes. No need to book, just drop in.
Also on Monday 13th September, we are hosting a talk by Linda Clarke from the Cheshire Record Office at 7.00-8.00pm. Linda will be showing a range of materials for family and local history research that can be found in libraries and the Record Office. This is a free event, but please book in advance as places are limited.
From 13th-17th September the library will have a display of WW2 local history material, including pictures of the Middlewich area and school log book entries from the war period.
