What's New
Middlewich Customer Service
Point
The customer service point is now operated by
the Library and went live on 2nd August. Customers will receive the
same level of Council services and information, but with the
benefits of longer opening hours and the ability to borrow library
items from one convenient location.
Events to Support the
Middlewich World War II Weekend
The Library is
holding events in the run up to the
Middlewich World War II Weekend, 18th-19th September
2010:
On Monday 13th September at 6.00-7.00pm local author, Allan
Earl, will be signing copies of his latest publication,
'Middlewich at War'. The publication costs £3.00 and a
donation from sales will be made to the charity Help for Heroes. No
need to book, just drop in.
Also on Monday 13th September, we are hosting a talk by Linda
Clarke from the Cheshire Record Office at 7.00-8.00pm. Linda will
be showing a range of materials for family and local history
research that can be found in libraries and the Record Office. This
is a free event, but please book in advance as places are
limited.
From 13th-17th September the library will have a display of WW2
local history material, including pictures of the Middlewich area
and school log book entries from the war period.

Directions
Middlewich Library is situated
in Lewin Street on the main road between Middlewich and
Sandbach.
Public Transport
Buses 33 & 37 run
from Crewe to Winsford via Sandbach and Middlewich. The 39 runs
between Northwich and Middlewich. The Rural Rider Bus runs from
Congleton to Nantwich via Holmes Chapel and Middlewich. The library
is close to the bus stops and town centre. There is no railway
station.

There is a car park for library
users next to the library and further car parking in the nearby
Civic Way car park.
