Book Sale
Our sale of old book stock is running from Thursday 4th March to Wednesday 24th March during normal library opening hours.
Cycle Knutsford
On Saturday 20th March, Cycle Knutsford will be in the library from 9.30 onwards to discuss cycle routes in the Knutsford area. They will have a display in the library until the end of March.
What happens at Knutsford Library when the library ladies have gone home?
Have you ever wondered what happens at Knutsford Library when all the library ladies have gone home? Well, so do we! So why not tell us in words and pictures what you think happens. Ask a library lady for an entry form (or telephone 01565 632909) and let those imaginations run riot. Closing date 12 March with a prize for the best entry.
Play4Life Indoor Games Session
It's Easter holidays and it's raining....! Even if it's not, why not come to the library for an hour of fun and games on Thursday 1st April between 2.30-3.30pm? You'll be able to play lots of games that hopefully won't involve any broken windows or smashed ornaments. Free of charge, but you must obtain a ticket from us in advance as places are limited. Suitable for children aged 6-8 years. All children must be accompanied.
Meet the Ramblers
Throughout May, there will be a photographic exhibition in the library, sponsored by the Ramblers, illustrating the many and varied types of walk and the people that participate in them.

Age Concern
Computer taster sessions for over 50s are run by Age Concern volunteers. These may be beginners or more advanced sessions. Please contact the library to check which sessions they are offering and to book a session.
Manchester Airport Community Information Point
Airport staff available to answer queries each Tuesday between 9.30am and 5pm, with the exception of the first Tuesday each month when the advice desk is available from 1pm to 8pm.

Knutsford library is situated on the A50, next to the Court Building, opposite the Civic Centre.
Public Transport
Knutsford bus station is behind the library, off Bexton Road. There is a walk way through to the library. The Railway Station is approximately 3 minutes walk from the front of the library, on the corner of Toft Road and Adams Hill.
Parking
Macclesfield Borough Council have a short stay pay and display car park behind the library, also used by Booths Supermarket. Access via Stanley Road. There is a walk way through to the library.
Disabled Parking
There are two car parking spaces for disabled drivers in the corner of Booth's supermarket car park, near the rear of the library.
