National Crime Writing Month 2013

Join us on Tuesday 4th June at 7.30pm for an evening with acclaimed writer, Stephen Booth, author of the Cooper & Fry series set in the Peak District. Tickets cost £3.00, including light refreshments. There will also be the opportunity to purchase books for signing.

Activities at Handforth Library

Tuesday

• Under 5s rhymetime - 11.00-11.30am - weekly in term time only. Children must be accompanied by a parent or carer.
• Reading group - 2.00pm - last in the month.  
• IT Buddy - 3.00-4.00pm - weekly. Please contact the library to book a place. £2.00 for one hour.

Thursday

• IT Buddy - 2.15-3.15 - weekly. Please contact the library to book a place. £2.00 for one hour.

Saturday

• Working Title Reading Group - 10.30 - first in month
• Scrabble Group - 10.30-12.00 - weekly
• IT Buddy - 10.00-11.00 and 11.15-12.15 - weekly. Please contact the library to book a place. £2.00 for one hour.

Information desk in the library on alternate Thursdays from 16th May 2013, at 9.30-12.30pm.

Contour Homes

Surgeries in the library at the following times:

• Mondays - 10.00am until 12.00 noon
• Tuesdays - 10.00am until 12.00 noon
• Thursdays - 2.00pm until 4.00pm

Police Community Support Officer

Local PCSO s will be in the library on the following dates at 1.30-3.30pm:

• Thursday 23rd May
• Monday 17th June

Wilmslow & Alderley Edge Children's Centre

Themed Stay and Play sessions held every Monday during term time at 10.00-11.30am. Free events, but please contact the Children's Centre to book a place. For details about these sessions call the Children's Centre on 01625 383095.
