What's New
Itea and Biscuits Week, 20th-26th
September 2010
On Monday 20th September at
2.30-3.30pm we are holding an event to celebrate Itea and
Biscuits Week. Come along for computer taster sessions and
refreshments. Free, but please book in advance at the library.
Reading Groups
Please ask at the Enquiry Desk for information about reading groups
meeting in Crewe Library.
English Conversation Club
Come along and practice English conversation in a friendly informal
setting. Beginners from 2-3pm every Tuesday and Improvers from
6-7pm every Monday. There is no age restriction and no charge. If
you would like more information, please contact Oksana or Angus on
01270 375295.
We also hold a collection of foreign books, with a small number of
French, German, Italian and Spanish and a large collection of
Polish fiction for children and adults, and a collection of
children's books in Bengali.

Age Concern Advice Desk
The advice desk is available weekly on Fridays between 10 am and 12
midday.
Family History Society
The Society is now based in a room at Crewe Library. Opening hours
are Monday and Tuesday 10.00am - 4.00pm and two out of four
Saturdays at 10.00am - 3.30pm.

Crewe Library is on the edge of
the town centre, opposite the Municipal Building. It is in the
civic complex, next to the Court and the Police Station.
Public Transport
Bus Station is in the
centre of town, about 5 minutes walk away. Train Station is 25
minutes walk away.
Parking
Car Park underneath Library costs
£2.50 per day. Pay and Display car parks available nearby opposite
Christ Church. Free Car Park in Cumberland Street, 5 minutes walk
away.
