What's New
Alsager Customer Service Point
The Alsager Customer Service
Point has re-located to Alsager Library. Customers will be
able to pay council tax bills, get council information and
borrow library items in one convenient location. Customer Service
Point customers will continue to receive the same level of Council
services and information, but with the benefits of longer opening
hours and free Internet access. There
will be trained staff on hand to deal with enquiries. For
more information telephone 0300 123 5500.
Honey Bee and Bugs
Come along to our craft session on Thursday 26th August at
2.00-3.00pm. Tickets cost 50p. Please contact the library to book
your place. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Children's Treasure Hunt
There is a monthly treasure hunt around the library. All entries
are placed in a draw to choose the winners.
Monthly Quiz for Adults
This is proving to be very popular. Visit our library quiz

On Display in the Library:
We have several items on display in the library, including a
Goss Vase donated in honour of Professor F A Holland and pictures
of the interior of Crewe Hall. Visit our Library

Alsager PCSO
The Alsager Police Community Support Officer helpdesk is available
in the library on Thursdays between 11am and 12 noon.
Books on Wheels
Alsager Library, along with the Women's Royal Voluntary
Service (WRVS), provides a Books on Wheels
service to anyone who is housebound in the local area.
Volunteers deliver the books, or talking books, every two weeks,
free of charge. This service is a lifeline for people who can't get
to the library. Please let library staff know of anyone who is
housebound and may need help with reading material. For further
information please contact the library.

IT Buddy
New to computers? Alsager Library offers the help of an IT Buddy. Book a computer for an hour for this
free service on Mondays 1.30-3.30pm, Thursdays
9.30-11.30 and Fridays 10.30-12.30pm. Please contact the
library for further details.
