What's New
Rhymetimes and Bookstart Bear Club
Join us on Monday mornings during term-time at 10.00-10.30am for
our pre-school children's Rhymetimes. Babies can join the new
Bookstart Bear Club and use their
library card to collect paw prints for certificates.
Mask Extravaganza
Join us on Wednesday 15th February for a special half
term event at 10.00-11.00am. Tickets cost £2.00. Children must be
accompanied by an
adult.
Coffee Mornings
To celebrate our new opening hours, the Friends of the Library are hosting a series of
coffee mornings on Wednesdays at 10.00-12.00pm. There will be
special book sale prices during these coffee mornings.
IT Buddy
For help with your computer problems or to Get Online and sign
up to Go On free online computer courses.
One hour sessions are available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,
Thursday and Friday and booking is essential. Please look under
'Other organisations' below to
check time slots available on each day. The IT Buddy can also help
with Cheshire Home Choice, NHS Choices and Ancestry.com.
Children's Treasure Hunt
There is a monthly fun treasure hunt around the library.

Goss Vase donated in honour of Professor F A Holland and pictures

The Alsager Police Community Support Officer helpdesk is
available in the library on Saturdays between 10am and
11am.
Books on Wheels
Alsager Library, along with the Women's Royal Voluntary
Service (WRVS), provides a Books on Wheels
service to anyone who is housebound in the local area.
Volunteers deliver the books, or talking books, every two weeks,
free of charge. This service is a lifeline for people who can't get
to the library. Please let library staff know of anyone who is
housebound and may need help with reading material. For further
information please contact the library.

IT Buddy
New to computers? Alsager Library offers the help
of an IT Buddy. Book a computer for an
hour on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

traffic lights at Bank Corner where Crewe Road, Sandbach Road and
Lawton Road converge.
