What's New
Cheshire Myths and
Legends
On Saturday 2nd October Alderley Edge Library
will be hosting a special event as part of the
10-10-10: 50 Years of the
Weirdstone of Brisingamen celebrations, marking the
fiftieth anniversay of the publication of the book and celebrating
Alan Garner and the legend of Alderley Edge. Medieval storyteller,
Tom Hughes, will lead interactive storytelling with puppets and
props at 11.00am until 12 noon. Free tickets available from
the library - come along and join in or just sit and listen.
There will be a Weirdstone of Brisingamen commemorative display in
the library.
