History Bound

Cheshire East Libraries are taking part in the North West regional reading and writing promotion, Pages Ago. The initiative runs from May to November 2010 and is organised by Time to Read.

Look out for special events and displays at a library near you. On Wednesday 15th September at 7.30pm Ray Rowe will be presenting an illustrated talk at Congleton Library on behalf of Congleton Museum, to complement the recent BBC TV series 'Victorian Pharmacy'. Back by popular demand, Stephen Deane, Principal Archaeologist with Staffordshire County Council, returns with his presentation on the Staffordshire Hoard at Macclesfield Library in October.
