Latest News 

  • Boxing.  On Friday 24th February the centre will be hosting an evening of boxing, for tickets contact 07766 448845.
  • Holiday Playscheme.  The next playscheme  will run from Monday 13th February to Friday 17th February at Victoria Community Centre and Sir William Stanier Leisure Centre.
  • New Fitness Class. Starting on Tuesday 10th January, there will be a new step based aerobics class every Tuesday in the Oakley centre from 6.00pm to 6.45pm.  The class is free to Everybody members, otherwise £4.50 per class.
  • New Lighting. The Oakley Building has recently become more energy efficient by having light sensors installed throughout. The work was undertaken in conjunction with the Council's Energy Management Team. The £3500 investment is estimated to reduce the centre's electricity consumption by 11,160 kWh per annum, this will reduce CO2 emissions into the atmosphere by 6 tonnes a year. The financial saving is estimated at £1200 a year.
  • Childrens Parties. The main and minor halls in the Oakley Centre are now available to hire for children's activity parties at weekends, we also have limited availability during school holidays. For more information on prices and the time slots available please contact the centre.
