Aqua Aerobics is a class in the pool with
music. Includes moves that use the resistance of the water to
tone muscles with a Cardio Vascular element to the class
also. Benefits include: the body is weightless in the
water, therefore there is no impact on the limbs, suitable for all
people including expectant mothers.
Aqua Rhythmics still uses the water as an aide
and could be described as yoga in the water. A
more gentle session that is often used as rehabilitation after
injury. The session is not done to music and the individual
does the exercise in their own time, the number of repetitions
isn't important, more the range and control of the movement.
