Learn to Swim Scheme
Crewe and Nantwich Swimming Pools, working in partnership with the Amateur Swimming Assosciation, has a long-standing reputation for delivering high quality swimming lessons to people of all ages and abilities.
The ASA is the national governing body for swimming, diving, water polo and synchronised swimming throughout England. Its main responsibility is to oversee the development of these sports from the first introduction through to competition on the world stage.
Our Learn to Swim Scheme uses the ASA's National Plan for Teaching Swimming as the basis for its swimming lesson programme to ensure that the delivery of swimming lessons is consistend with the national standards set by the governing body.
The National Plan has been developed by the ASA to provide a template for swim schemes, it has been designed to assist qualified teachers whose own experience and training will enhance the implementation of the plan.
