Congleton Leisure Centre -Redevelopment Project
Cheshire East Council is committed to providing the best possible facilities for its residents and visitors and we are constantly reviewing what we offer.
We believe there is the potential to modernise and improve the Lifestyle provision in Congleton which could house an impressive range of leisure, health and community facilities accessible for everyone.
Following the initial consultation and feasibility studies, a Lifestyle Offer was not sought for this site. But the Council are keen to include Lifestyle elements to compliment and supplement the Leisure offer at this centre so that we can improve the Health and Wellbeing of our residents.
Meanwhile we have been working with potential suppliers to identify the best solution for the existing centre. We have started a procurement process with a number of bidders and we are working towards refining designs so that their final tender can be considered by the evaluation team, supported by Council Officers, ESAR staff and external legal and leisure industry specialists.
