Film 'Spinnin’ for 2012' by Tinchy Stryder and Dionne Bromfield
is the first song to be released in association with the Games, and
will create the soundtrack to the Olympic Flame's 8,000 mile
journey around the UK. Feel free to put this link onto
your website to encourage people to nominate Torchbearers
through the Presenting Partners of the Relay. The video can be

London 2012 outlines Olympic Flame vision for the UK
Torch Parade and Flag Raising Ceremony - London 2012 Olympics
and Paralympic Games
As part
of the Crewe Carnival 2008 weekend a Torch Parade and Flag Raising
Ceremony took place to commemorate the start of the transfer from
Beijing 2008 to London 2012. On Saturday 23rd August the Torch
parade was a part of the Crewe Parade.
On Sunday 24th August 2008 the Flag raising ceremony took place
on the Municipal Square where the former Mayor of Crewe and
Nantwich Borough Council, Councilor Brian Sylvester raised a flag
and congratulated local current and potential sporting
champions.
