Cygnet Family Fun Swim

Group held the first Cygnet 
Family Fun Swim session
at
Alsager Leisure Centre.
The session was launched for families with disabled children to
have exclusive use of the pool to have the opportunity to enjoy a
swim as a family. There were lots of happy, smiling faces as the
families enjoyed the swim and made the most of the floats, toys and
other aids to add to the excitement. After the session,
refreshments were provided for the families to relax and socialise
with other families.
The day was a success with feedback from the parents was
positive with one parent commenting “it was the first time we’ve
all been able to go swimming as a family in six years” while other
families said they were already looking forward to the next
session.
