Training and Development
You will receive training and varied work experience benefiting
from working alongside experienced staff to gain job specific
skills which leads to a nationally recognised qualification in one
of the occupational areas that we offer.
Your training will be managed by our learning provider who will
contact you shortly after you start your work placement. They will
produce an individual training plan for you.
As an apprentice you will be fully
supported by our Apprenticeship Co-ordinator, who leads the A-Team,
and at each placement you will also be assigned a Workplace
Supervisor who will work closely with you throughout your
apprenticeship.
The A-Team scheme really does pride itself on the development
opportunities it presents for apprentices, such as learning and
development days exclusively tailored for apprentices, regular
opportunities to attend events representing the Council and also
take advantage of the various corporate training courses.
We really will give you all the support you need to be
successful!
