Following feedback from our Landlord Forums, we have introduced a series of fact sheets to help landlords to operate in line with best practice. The Fact Sheet on Section 21 notices (PDF, 315KB) provides landlords with best practice guidance on how to issue notice to end an assured shorthold tenancy.

Guidance for new Landlords

With the downturn in the housing market, more people are renting out their homes until the market picks up and they are able to sell their home. LACORS, a Government agency, has produced a short guide for people renting out their home(PDF, 213KB). This is aimed at helping those renting out their home for the first time to better understand their responsibilities.
