Landlord Forum
Landlord Forums provide the ideal opportunity for private sector
landlords to keep up to date with relevant legislation and
become involved in initiatives and plans for the private
rented sector in Cheshire East. We hold regular landlord
forums every 6 months.
Upcoming Forum
We have two landlord forums coming up soon.
The planned agenda includes Fraud Awareness, Landlord
accreditation update, a presentation from the Royal British
Legion entitled "Finding accommodation for redundant Armed
Forces staff"; a presentation from the National Landlords
Association and an update on Housing Benefit changes.
Landlords can attend one of two forums: 3rd November
2011 The Cheshire suite, Room B, Macclesfield Library,
Jordangate, Macclesfield, SK10 1EE from 9.30am til 12.15pm.
4th November 2011 in The Municipal Buildings, Earle Street,
Crewe, from 9am til 12pm.
All landlords wishing to attend should book a place with Diane
Cummings or James Smith by 22nd October.

The most recent Landlord Forums were held on 10th and
12th May 2011. The meetings were well attended with between 40 and
50 landlords coming to gather further information on the
following:
- Housing benefit changes
- An update on the Bond Scheme
- Diligent Inventories
- Environment - Dealing with
condensation
- The Green Deal
Two forums are held each 6 months at a venue in Crewe and a
venue in Macclesfield. Anyone wishing to attend can indicate their
venue preference by sending an e-mail to: Housingoptions@cheshireeast.gov.uk
Unfortunately we are no longer able to post out
information resulting from the forums to individuals. However, all
information and updates will be posted on this website shortly
after the meetings.
