The Private Sector Housing Team offer a range of services to ensure that everyone in Cheshire East has the opportunity to live in a safe, warm and suitable home.

Our services include:

• Care & Repair - helping older people and disabled adults and children with home repairs and adaptations, and help with urgent heating during the winter months
  
• Home Safety service for small repairs and practical tasks around the home
  
• Financial help with home repairs for homeowners and private landlords
  
• Ensuring housing is safe to live in, particularly privately rented housing
  
• Accreditation scheme for landlords
  
• Licensing houses in multiple occupation (HMOs)
  
• Bringing empty homes back into use
  
• Housing inspections for people entering the country
  
• Disabled facilities grants, helping disabled people to live safely and independently at home
  
• Home energy efficiency
  
• Managing our Gypsy and Traveller site
