If you have no accommodation available to you or you are likely
to lose your accommodation you should contact the Housing Options Team as soon
as possible. By contacting the team early, there will be more
options available to you to either prevent homelessness or resolve
it if it occurs.
SEVERE WEATHER UPDATE (Nov 13):
When the weather is predicted to be zero degrees celsius or
below for three consecutive nights then Cheshire East
Council's Severe Weather Emergency Procedure (SWEP) comes into

Authority has during this period and gives the necessary contact

Cheshire East no longer owns any council housing, but
works with housing associations and social landlords to provide
social housing across the area.

The information we collect about you depends on the reason for your
involvement with us. All personal information is
subject to a legal duty of confidence. The legal framework
for confidentiality is contained in common law, the Human Rights
