Warm Front Contribution Assistance
Help for owner-occupiers and privately-renting tenants to pay
their contribution towards a Warm Front grant
How much is it?
Up to £750. If your contribution is higher than this and you
can’t afford the difference, you can apply for Decent Homes
Assistance for the difference.
Am I eligible to apply?
If you have been offered a Warm Front grant by EAGA, but the
cost of the works exceed the maximum grant available to you, then
you may qualify. Visit the Warm Front website to find out
more about their grant.
If you haven’t already applied for a Warm Front grant, contact
the Private Sector Renewal team.
What works will it pay for?
It will pay for the works eligible for the Warm Front grant. If
you need more radiators than the Warm Front grant covers, we may
pay for those, depending on which room the radiator(s) are in, the
size of your property and who lives there.
Do I have to repay this assistance?
No, it is not repayable.
Can I apply again?
You won’t be able to apply for Warm Front Contribution
Assistance at the same property unless the Warm Front scheme rules
change, but you may be eligible for other types of assistance from
us, apart from the energy efficiency cashback assistance.
