Route management studies

Route Management Studies assess the performance of strategic routes, identifying challenges to their existing and future operation. Our plans for each route aim to deliver improvements to benefit the entire route.

We consider with stakeholders

  • route function
  • route performance (safety, congestion etc)
  • ‘Local’ problems / issues
  • potential options over short, medium and long term periods

We review route performance to check solutions continue to work effectively.
