Our Purpose

The Council’s Carers Manager provides the strategic leadership for the Carers Agenda in Cheshire East, and is the Local Authority representative at a Regional and National level. The Manager is also responsible for managing the Carers Grant allocation from Central Government.

We are committed to supporting carers. A carer is someone who looks after a relative, friend or neighbour who is ill or has a disability and would not be able to live in the community without their help. The care they provide is unpaid.
