How to Make Comments on Planning Applications
Most planning applications are subject to
consultation and anyone is able to make representations, object,
support or comment should they wish to do
so. Consultations are normally limited to a 21 day
period so you should always ensure your comments are received prior
to the publicity expiry date.
If you want to object, support or comment on a planning
application you should do this online by first viewing the
application and then clicking on the link for submitting
comments on the right hand side.

Data Protection Act 1998
Cheshire East Council has a statutory
requirement under the Town and Country Planning Acts to maintain a
public register of planning applications. Information from the
register is used in answering queries about planning history
including searches of the Local Land Charge Register.
Any representation on planning
applications will be retained as part of that register. The
register consists of the application form, accompanying plans and
drawings, consultation responses and the decision. The
register is made available to anyone who wishes to view it.
