South Cheshire Sub Regional Study
The South Cheshire Sub Regional Study was commissioned by
the former Cheshire County Council on behalf of 4NW to investigate
the relationship between South Cheshire (the area formerly covered
by Crewe & Nantwich Borough and Congleton Borough) and the
neighbouring local authorities of Staffordshire Moorlands,
Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme, North Shropshire and the
former Borough of Macclesfield.
The Study was formulated in response to the recognised need in
the Panel Report of the now revoked Regional Spatial
Strategy for a study to consider these inter-regional
relationships.
