The Cheshire Minerals Development Framework (prior to
2009)
Prior to Local Government Re-organisation in Cheshire in April
2009, the former Cheshire County Council began preparation on
a Minerals Development Framework (MDF). Following public
consultation, two planning documents were produced identifying
mineral issues and options for Cheshire in relation to strategic
matters ('The Core Strategy') and site specific matters ('Site
Specific Policies and Allocations'). These documents are available
to download below.
Please note that work on the Cheshire Minerals
Development Framework was discontinued following the formation of
Cheshire East Council in April 2009. These documents
have been made available here for information purposes
only and any references to Cheshire County
Council and the Cheshire Minerals Development Framework are no
longer valid.
