13th March 2012: Spatial Planning at Congleton Library

Spatial Planning Officers were in attendance to answer questions at Congleton Library today (Tuesday 13th March) between 11am and 1pm.  It was very busy and the two hours passed very quickly.  A big thank you to all of those who came along to talk to us about the ongoing Town Strategy consultation.  There was some lively discussion, with people expressing their views and asking questions, including impacts on infrastructure in the town, the need for growth and questions regarding the process.  If you have any questions on the Town Strategy process, please consult our Frequently Asked Questions page or contact us on 01270 685893 or by e-mail at ldfconsultation@cheshireeast.gov.uk.

The exhibition has been in Congleton Library since the start of the consultation; however, from Monday 19th March, it will be on the move.  The exhibition will be on show in the foyer of Congleton Town Hall from 9.30am to 4.30pm on weekdays.  The exhibition and consultation will run until 2nd April 2012.

The proposals are also available to view on our Local Plan page where a questionnaire can be filled in online.  In addition, paper copies can be completed and put in one of the marked boxes at the exhibition location.  They can also be handed in at the Council offices in Sandbach, or posted to:
