Address Management
- Cheshire East Council is the Street Naming and Numbering
Authority for the area and deals with all address management
issues.
- It maintains a corporate database of land and property
addresses - the Local Land and Property
Gazetteer.
- It sends regular updates to the National Land and Property
Gazetteer
- It also maintains the Local Street Gazetteer and sends regular
updates to the National Street
Gazetteer. This gazetteer is used by Local Authorities
streetworks departments to coordinate the work that is being
performed on the highway within their administrative area.
