Applying for Planning Permission
There are several ways of submitting your planning
application.
Via the Planning Portal
The Council's preferred method is submission using the
Planning Portal.
Once on this website:
- Access the General Public section
- Choose Planning permission
- Choose Make an application.
Follow the instructions to register on the site if you are a new
user or login if you are an existing user.
Specify the address details and begin to submit your
application.

Planning application forms
4 copies of the completed forms are
required. You should send your completed application to the
following address:
Development Management
Town Hall
Macclesfield
Cheshire
SK10 1DP
Please remember to check the Council's validation
checklists to see what else you need to submit with your
application.
You should also make sure you have paid the correct planning application fee.
Cheques for the planning application fee should be made payable to
Cheshire East Council.
Collect paper copies from Council offices
4 copies have to be completed and posted back to the Planning
Office at the above address.
