LABC Partner Scheme

As a Local Authority we are continuing to strive towards improvements in the performance of our Building Control Service, and have recently created several external partnerships with Companies/Architects (Partners) who regularly use our service. This means that Cheshire East's Building Control Service has the responsibility to guide Partners through the plan check process on all Building Regulation submissions no matter where the location in the Country, giving a single point of contact to ensure all projects are regulatory compliant, guaranteeing consistency, a fast track approach and a suitable decision for you. 
 
With a Building Control Surveyor dedicated to a Partner, we can guarantee certainty and consistency across all aspects of design including pre-application advice, plans examination and all the necessary consultations, including the Fire Service. For companies that build or design nationwide, partnering can help to simplify and speed up the approval process. Subsequent site inspection work will be carried out by the Local Authority where the construction works take place, thereby maintaining benefits of local knowledge through the construction stage.
