Archaeology
Cheshire East Borough Council provides archaeological
advice through the Cheshire Archaeology Planning Advisory
Service.
The Cheshire Archaeology Planning Advisory Service is
responsible for safeguarding Cheshire's archaeology through the
planning process. It is a shared service between Cheshire
East Council and Cheshire West and Chester Council, as well as the
authorities of Warrington and Halton.
Festival of British Archaeology 2010 - 17th July ~ 1st

This National celebration of archaeology is co-ordinated by
the Council for British Archaeology
and aims to give everyone the opportunity to learn about their
local heritage, see archaeology in action and get involved.
There are over 730 events taking place nationally, the
following is organised by the Archaeology Planning Advisory
service.
