Welcome to the planning section of the website.  Planning can be a complex and daunting system to navigate but here you will find lots of information and guidance about planning with the aim of helping you understand the planning system and what planning in Cheshire East means for you.

  Cheshire East Borough Council is the minerals and waste planning authority and deals with all waste management plans and mineral development.

The Peak District National Park is the planning authority for all applications for the easternmost part of Cheshire East including the parishes of Wincle, Macclesfield Forest and Wildboarclough, part of the village of Rainow and parts of the parishes of Bosley, Lyme Handley and Kettleshulme.  Check the map of the Peak District National Park to see if your property is in that area.
