Strategic Framework Agreements
The Assets and Facilities Service is responsible for the
management and procurement of all building construction work on
behalf of the Council which is funded from non-devolved budgets.
Maintained schools are free to make their own arrangements for work
funded from their own budgets but it is recommended they take
advice from the Assets Manager. Church schools are subject to
different arrangements and come under the responsibility of the
relevant Diocesan Authority.
In order to fulfill its role the Council is keen to benefit from
the advantages that a partnering approach can bring to its
construction activities and so have Strategic Framework
Agreements/Partnering agreements in place.
