Con29 R selectable information:

A number of personal search companies have made a formal request to the Council since  6th April 2009 under the Environmental Information Regulations stating that they feel specific data should be accessible to aid the compilation of the Home information Packs.

The Councils current position with regard to these requests is shown below:

Cheshire East Council is aware that a number of Personal search companies have made representation to the Information Commissionier regarding access to Con29 data under the Environmental Information Regulations.

This Council will not be providing access to this data under EIR in advance of any decision being made by The Information Commissioner. Changes (if any) to the policy, procedure and charging will only be implemented when a formal notice or public guidance has been duly issued by the Commissioner 

In the meantime we will continue to make a charge in accordance with the fees we have published, which comply to the costing and guidance recommendations issued by DCLG”.
