We have compiled the following list of websites and online resources to help you with your topic on the Olympics.

Olympic History:

• BBC Primary History: The Olympic Games  - contains short bites of information based on the first Olympic games.
• The Games at Olympia - an interactive site, with a click through guide to the five days of the original Olympic games.
• The Ancient Greek Olympics - a site about the Ancient Greek Olympics which children can read through themselves. There are also links to other websites and resources on this page.

London 2012

• London 2012 – the main website for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
• London 2012: Get Set – the official London 2012 education programme. It includes ideas and resources to help your school make the most of the 2012 Olympics.
