Oversubscription Criteria September 2012
Applications were considered by the admission authority of each
school named as a preference on the application form. For
academies, voluntary (church) aided and foundation
schools, the governing body is the admission authority for
the school and for community and controlled schools the admission
authority is the local authority. Information regarding the
oversubscription criteria for schools was available in our School Admissions Information Booklets.
The attached tables show the breakdown of the number of places
offered in each oversubscription criteria for all secondary and
primary schools for September 2012 and is relevant to the
information as at offer date of 1 March 2012 and 27 April
2012 respectively.
Please note that distance is measured using an Ordnance Survey
address point system which measures straight line distances in
miles from the address point of the school to the address point of
the place of residence.
