Decisions on School Places for September 2013
Decisions for school places for
reception and and year 7, for September 2013, will be
conveyed to parents on 16 April 2013 and 1 March 2013
If the application has been made by using the
online facility, decisions will be emailed if that option was
chosen. They will also be available to
view via the parent / carers' individual registered accounts
on those dates. Offers made for paper applications will be
sent by second class post.
Applications were considered by the admission
authority of each school named as a preference on the application
form. For academies, voluntary (church) aided and foundation
schools, the governing body is the admission authority for
the school and for community and controlled schools the admission
authority is the local authority. Information regarding the
oversubscription criteria for schools was available in our School Admissions Information Booklets.
The tables below show the breakdown of the number of places
offered in each oversubscription criteria for all secondary and
primary schools for September 2013 and is relevant to the
information as at offer date of 1 March 2013 and 16
April 2013 respectively.
Please note that distance is measured using an Ordnance Survey
address point system which measures straight line distances in
miles from the address point of the school to the address point of
the place of residence.
