Applications for Admission in September 2012

The application process for school places either for reception class in a primary school, or for transfer to year 7 in a secondary school for the first time, has now closed.

The status of applications that have already been made can be checked online.

Making an Application After the Closing Dates

If you need to apply for primary or secondary school places after the closing dates, please either complete the application form below, or call 0300 123 5012 for guidance.  You can still apply for school places, but the application will be classed as late (unless circumstances are agreed per admission arrangements in How to Apply for School Places booklet), and considered after all those submitted on-time.

You are strongly advised to read the information contained within our information booklets before completing your application in order to ensure that you fully understand the process and the arrangements that will be applied to your application.

Admission Arrangements for 2012

You should consider the admission arrangements  of the schools you are interested in applying for, as these may affect your decision.  Additionally, please consider the information about current objections to the Schools Adjudicator, which could affect future admission arrangements.

In-Year Applications

These include applications for places in all year groups at any time in the year other than those made for admission in September into the reception class for the first time or for transfer to secondary school from a primary school:

• Primary Schools -  reception class through to Year 6
• Secondary Schools - Year 7 through to Year 11  

If you are a Cheshire East resident you can use our online IN YEAR application form to apply for school places in any year group except the September entry for reception or Year 7 transfer to secondary school.

Please note: We are currently receiving an unprecedented amount of In Year applications.  If you have not yet received a response, please be advised we are currently working through all outstanding applications, and will contact families as soon as possible.
