  • The Child Bereavement Charity is the UK’s leading charity that supports families and educates professionals both when a child dies and when a child is bereaved. 
  • Winston's Wish helps bereaved children and young people rebuild their lives after a family death. They offer practical help for grieving children and their families.
  • Grief Encounter aims to help and support each person with an individual approach offering a flexible and accessible bereavement service which professionally listens and understands, cares and responds to the needs of each service user.   Their helpline offers information, signposting and advice and counselling may be via children’s workshops, 1/1 counselling or offered as support to the family as a whole.
  • There is help available for parents who have had a still-born child.
  • The Miscarriage Association provides support and information for those suffering the effects of pregnancy loss.
  • A Child of Mine offers all aspects of losing a child, from the practicabilities of what happens when your child dies to arranging a funeral, advice for siblings and how to survive as a couple during your grief. 
  • The British Heart Foundation offer a 'Small Creature pack' for young children who have lost someone close to them.
