Cheshire East Citizens
Advice Bureau North is the new name for the old Macclesfield
Wilmslow and District Citizens Advice Bureau, offering service in
the Knutsford, Macclesfield, Poynton and Wilmslow areas. It is a
charity staffed by paid workers and trained volunteers. As well as
giving advice and assistance, we campaign for changes in policies
and services where improvements are needed.
The BeGrand site provides information, advice
and a welcoming community for grandparents, with articles,
factsheets, quizzes, surveys, resources, activities and helpful
guides to making best use of the internet, written in plain
English.
Parentline Plus site is
run by a team of parents, advising families on issues big and
small to ensure that life is better for all. A leading
national charity providing help and support to anyone caring for
children – parents, grandparents, step-parents, relatives – for
families living together as well as apart.

carers of disabled children, which encourages use of the web and
social networking sites to access information and advice.

a new online service designed to support and encourage parents and
carers of children aged 5 to 19 with a collection of videos
addressing day-to-day questions and concerns, spanning well-being,
behaviour and learning.
