Family Information Service (FIS)
FIS
is a free,
impartial one-stop-shop service for parents/carers and young people
aged 0–19, providing accurate and detailed information on services
in Cheshire East, regionally and nationally. From childcare to
tax credits to guidance on bullying, the Family Information Service
can assist for all manner of queries, big or small. For more info

From the 29th April 2013,
FIS
, will become part of the
new 'front door' for children's Social Care and will take all of
the initial calls for the Cheshire East
Consultation Service. Further information with regards to the
new service will be released over the next couple of weeks but in
the meant time if you have any immediate concerns about the safety
of a child then please call 0300 123 5012.
Do You Need Help With...
Cheshire East’s Family Information Service can be contacted
by:
- Calling at local rates 0300 123
5033 between 8.30am and 5.00pm, Monday to Thursday,
4.30pm on a Friday. An answer machine operates outside of
these hours with messages collected the next working day.
