Early Years and Childcare Training
There are a range of local
courses available to support the professional development of the
Early Years and Childcare Workforce. Some of these are organised by
Cheshire East Council and some by external providers.
As well as the information
provided on this page please also contact local Further
Education and Higher Education Colleges as they may also offer
professional development for the sector.
It is the responsibility of
Owners and Managers to determine the quality and suitability of
training offered by external providers and to ensure that courses
are appropriate and meet the needs of their Staff.
Domestic Abuse
Cheshire East Domestic Abuse Partnership offer a range of
training to raiseawareness about domestic abuse. For further

Common Assessment Framework
The Common Assessment Framework (
CAF
) is a key component of the
Every Child Matters Agenda. CAF can be used by staff across all
agencies to assess a child’s needs at the earliest opportunity and
enable them to work together more effectively to deliver
