CAF Training Programme 2012-13

. The
CAF
training programme for 2012-2013 ((PDF,160KB) is now
available please book using the Children and Families Learning
and Development Application form (MS Word, 51KB).

The Revised
EYFS
was posted onto the
DfE website and can
be viewed / downloaded

Currently there are four main sections to be read by all
practitioners working within the Foundation Stage:
The Cheshire East Early Years and Childcare Team will be holding
briefings in June in preparation for all settings to adopt the
Framework by September 2012. These briefings will be advertised
after the Easter Holiday with sessions available for
owners/managers and practitioners
Professionally printed copies of the revised
EYFS
and updated Development
Matters are available from the
NDNA
. These
can be ordered from the NDNA
website and can be ordered by providers even if you are not
memebers of the
NDNA
. They are
available at print cost of £9.50 each including postage.
Forthcoming Conferences
One World, One Dream:
Realising the Rights of Young Children (PDF, 116KB) is the
theme of the ASPECT Early Childhood Education Group
Conferernce. This is to be held both Friday 22nd
and Saturday 23rd June 2012 at Formby Hall Golf Club,
Formby, Merseyside L37 0AB. An Childhood Education
Group Conference application form (MS Word, 45KB) needs to
be completed and returned to the address on the form.
CWDC Qualifications Audit
The Early Years and Childcare team are encouraging all our
settings to use this Audit tool. The audit tool allows early
years registered settings and childminders to create a record of
the qualifications and training of practitioners in their
setting.
The Early Years
Qualifications List enables settings and childminders to
determine if the qualifications held by themselves and their staff
meet the
EYFS
requirements.
