The Brooks Children's Centre

The staff at The Brooks Children’s centre aim to improve the lives of children and their families by bringing together a variety of professionals and services all under one roof. Our webpage lets you know where to find us, when we are open and all the activities we run.

Like other Children’s Centres, we have a team of Early Intervention Family Support Workers, Health Visitors, Midwives, a Speech and Language Therapist, Job Centre Plus Advisors and Early Years Practitioners so that we can offer quality services, activities and support to the children and their families.

Safehands Green Start Nursery (on site nursery)

Safehands Green Start Nursery is now open at The Brooks Children's Centre.  The nursery is open Monday to Friday from 8.00 am until 6.00 pm and provides daycare for 0 to 5 year olds.  Free Early  Education Entitlement nursery places for 3 & 4 year olds are also available.  For more information please call 01270 748233.

Family Drop-ins

We run Family Drop-ins at the following venues;

• Edleston Drop In at Edleston Primary School (PDF, 203KB) 
• Little Pebbles Drop In at St Andrew's Church Hall (PDF, 148KB)
• The family drop-in at Wistaston Green School has finished. There will no longer be a weekly session, but there will be one off activities after Easter - details will be posted here when available.
