Oak Tree Children’s Centre - Mablins Lane site is
situated on the site of Mablins Lane Primary School.
This web page will give you all the information you need regarding
our location, activities, regular groups and much more. We are open
all year round offering various sessions and activities for you and
your 0 – 5 year old children which are all fun and free! Our aim is
that all local parents have support and encouragement to really
enjoy their children, and help prepare them for a successful start
in life.
We work closely with various other agencies such as Family
Support Workers, Midwives, Health Visitors, Job Centre Plus to name
but a few and aim to act as a one stop shop for the local
community. We can also help with advice on things such as
childcare in your area or local activities for you and your
children to enjoy!

Newsflash - New Baby Explorers Group!
Explore the world of play with your baby! Baby Explorers Group
runs every Friday, please check the weekly activities
timetable above for the time the session is being held as it may
vary from week to week. The group will have Baby focused fun
and games to help development, for babies from birth until they
start to walk. For more information please contact the
children's centre.
Twinkle Toes Support Group - Monthly
Twinkle Toes is a support group running on the 4th Monday of
every month and is for families who have had a baby cared for on a
Special Care Baby Unit. Everyone is welcome, whether you are a mum,
dad, grandparent or carer. There is a play area for
children and somewhere for families to chat or be listened to.
Bluebells Fun Hour - Weekly
Bluebells fun hour is an hour of singing, dancing and story
time for you and your 0—5’s to enjoy!
