Cheshire East Council Election May 2011
The election for all Councillors in Cheshire East Council will
be on Thursday 5th of May 2011.
Votes will be counted on Friday 6th of May and the results
posted as they are known.
This will be the first election to be held using the new ward
boundaries set out by the Local Government Boundary Commission in
January 2011, following a review by
the Boundary Committee.
There will be 52 Wards, and 82 Councillors. Depending
on the population, wards could be represented by one, two or
three councillors.

Please note: the election for councillors in Crewe South ward has been postponed until
the 16th of June following the death of a
candidate. The referendum will still take place.
