Death Certificate Fees
Once a death has been registered, one or more death certificates
may be purchased, either at the time of registration or a
later date.
- From a Registrar of Births and Deaths at the time of
registration £4.00
- From a Registrar of Births and Deaths after the time of
registration £7.00
- From a Superintendent Registrar's deposited Register
£10.00
Please make all cheques payable to Cheshire East Borough
Council. Please note that most of the services we
provide are exempt from VAT. Where VAT is applicable, the VAT
inclusive charge is shown.
