Role and Structure

The main role for PACE is to facilitate genuine partnership working which provides added value to the work we all do.  The ambition and priorities for the partnership are set out in our Sustainable Community Strategy, Ambition for All.  This is the blueprint for joint working between service providers, communities, businesses and voluntary organisations across Cheshire East.  Other roles include:

• Providing leadership and governance, ensuring local needs and aspirations are turned into action
• Having oversight of and co-ordinating community consultation and engagement activities of individual partners, where appropriate
• Having oversight of the planning and alignment of resources
• Reviewing and performance managing progress.

The actions set out in Ambition for All will be taken forward through delivery plans developed by the five thematic partnerships and also by the individual agencies which sit on these partnerships through their annual business planning processes.  Local Area Partnerships, their sub groups and community partnerships will also play a key part in delivering Ambition for All.
