Workforce Monitoring
Cheshire East Council believes firmly in equality
of opportunity in all aspects of employment including recruitment,
pay, terms and conditions of service, development and training. The
Council is committed to developing employment policies, procedures
and practices that do not discriminate unfairly or unlawfully
against anyone and that promote equality of opportunity for
all.
Workforce data sets are produced each year in
order to measure how effectively the Council is performing against
this commitment and to help us better understand the effectiveness
of our employment policies and procedures in promoting
equality.
The Workforce
Equality Monitoring Report (PDF, 194KB) summarises
the Council’s present position. The Draft Equality
Objectives (PDF, 37KB) identify specific internal and
external targets that will enable the organisation to improve the
collection of equality information, and address the most persistent
areas of inequalities faced by both employees and
residents.
