CEDAP
co-ordinates the shared work of all key statutory and voluntary
sector communities to keep people safe from domestic abuse and make
best use of resources
CEDAP priorities
2011-2012
CEDAP
continues
to oversee the implementation of a Co-ordinated Community Response
involving all key partners in protection, provision, prevention
through a partnership approach. The following additional activities
have been prioritised for the coming year following consultation
with all key stakeholders:
- Expanding awareness and training provision and delivery methods
(young people, magistrates and GPs in particular)
- Improving access to all group work programmes (adult and child
victim, voluntary perpetrator programme)
- Establishing a Single Point of Contact for DA across the
Borough
- Securing longer term commissioning of key services
- Strengthening the Survivors Forum
- Increasing referrals from minority groups
- Improving the collection and use of performance monitoring
- Work with the review of Strategic Board connectivity to
maximise resources and effectiveness
To achieve these priorities
CEDAP
