Safer Cheshire East Partnership

The Crime and Disorder Act 1998 said local authorities and the police had to form partnerships to reduce crime and disorder in their areas. Our Partnership covers the Cheshire East Council area.

The Safer Cheshire East Partnership includes:

• Central and Eastern Cheshire Primary Care Trust
• National Probation Trust
• Cheshire Youth Offending Team
• Registered Social Landlords (Housing Associations)
• East Cheshire NHS Trust 
• Cheshire East Domestic Abuse Partnership

The Partnership’s current priority issues are

• Anti social behaviour
• Reducing re-offending
• Domestic Abuse and vulnerable people
• Road safety
