Family Information Service (FIS)
FIS is a free, impartial one-stop-shop service for parents/carers and young people aged 0–19, providing accurate and detailed information on services in Cheshire East, regionally and nationally. From childcare to tax credits to guidance on bullying, the Family Information Service can assist for all manner of queries, big or small. FIS is part of the 'front door' for children's social care and take all of the initial calls for the Cheshire East Consultation Service. If you have any immediate concerns about the safety of a child then please call 0300 123 5012 (option 3).
Cheshire East’s Family Information Service can be contacted by:
- Calling at local rates 0300 123 5033 between 8.30am and 5.00pm, Monday to Thursday, 4.30pm on a Friday. An answer machine operates outside of these hours with messages collected the next working day.

Cheshire East Mobile Children's Centre
The Mobile Children's Centre has been launched with the aim of providing Children Centre services and family support to young children and their families in rural areas in the south of the borough.
